Recent Club Events

High Country Bassmasters celebrated the final class of the Clearfield City youth fishing program with a BBQ and casting competition Wednesday May 10 2006. The weekly class which is part of the Utah Urban Fisheries program teaches youth ages 6-13 basic safety, casting, knot tying, fish identification, rules and ethics. 22 students were enrolled this year. High Country has been involved with this program at Maybe pond since access was first purchased by Clearfield City. Thanks to everyone who made this years class a success. Special thanks to the DWR for their regular stocking efforts and Kent Hale and Dave Wilbert who coordinated our clubs
participation and donated the food and giveaway items.
